Henry’s Little Big Gig is an exciting new live music and ale festival based at the infamous Henry’s Campsite in the Lizard. The three-day family festival, will run from September 21st – 24th, 2012 celebrating Cornwall’s creative talent, in music, beer making and much more. 

This year, there will be performances from SPUNGE, Duotone, Rosie Vanier, JP Cooper, Flats and Sharps, Gwelhellin Goth, Jumping Out Jazz, The Klicks, Adam Parfitt, Harry Rowland, John Gallagher and more. Other festival highlights, will include a performance from the award winning Penzance Youth String Orchestra, and on site music from The Busk Stop, ‘Bagas Crowd’ and the ‘Pensans Morris’ dance group, making the event and extraordinary mix of Cornish culture. Henry’s is a magnificent campsite set just south of Kynance Cove, with a stunning sea view. Secluded amongst palms trees, quirky eco-art and rescued animals the relaxed atmosphere and sense of fun on site has visitors booking year on year.

The team at Henry’s work hard to create a haven for their campers giving them a more unique camping experience, in what is an already very special part of Cornwall. The festival organisers Ron Lyne & Cat Lee have done no less with the Little Big Gig, and have bravely set about organising an event that they hope will inspire people of all ages and talents to embrace their creative spirit and join in with the musical mayhem! Although you do not have to be a musician to come the festival, if there is musician amongst you, whether a virtuoso or a complete beginner, they are invited to bring their instruments and join in with the various workshops and informal jamming sessions, that will occur on site throughout the day. There will also be a variety of other workshops such as capoeira, yoga, reiki & alternative therapies, dance, juggling, and green woodworking arts.  Workshops are open to all ticket holders.
